Reggae soul heavyweights The Black Seeds return with their highly anticipated new studio album ‘Dust And Dirt’. By far their most progressive record to date, ‘Dust And Dirt’ incorporates elements of funk, rock and disco while remaining true to the band’s roots. Having sold over 125,000 records worldwide, ‘Dust And Dirt’ is the first album to be released on the band’s own Proville Records label, and follows their critically acclaimed albums ‘Into The Dojo’ (2007) and ‘Solid Ground’ (2008). Self recorded and produced in their own studio, situated in a condemned building in Wellington, New Zealand, the album was honed down from over two albums’ worth of material. The result - a 13 track album that the band feels represents their true sound and best work yet. The band have performed at some of Europe’s leading music festivals (Roskilde, Lowlands, Summerjam, Lovebox, Big Chill) and The Black Seeds will shortly announce their festival appearances this summer, including a number of regional UK festivals.
